Women on Depo-Provera Needed: MRI Study

Description

McGill & the MNI seek women aged 18-21 on Depo-Provera who do not experience pain during intercourse to participate in a brain imaging study designed to examine how the brain mediates genital pain.

The research is directed by Dr. Binik, Dept of Psych, McGill & Dr. Schweinhardt, Faculty of Dentistry, McGill. Participation includes a 30-min interview, a 90-min sensory testing session, & a 90-min brain scan session. Some pain will be experienced during the procedure, but no other health risks are posed. Participants will be compensated for their time.
